Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp CAP IBU Sliced Shallots in Canola Oil
- 2 tbsp CAP IBU Minced Garlic in Canola Oil
- 750 g beef
- 1 tsp CAP IBU hot chili powder
- 1 tsp CAP IBU black pepper ground
- 1/2 tsp CAP IBU ginger ground
- 1/2 tsp CAP IBU nutmeg ground
- 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp stock powder
- 1 onion
- 500 ml water
- carrots
- green beans
- potato
- fried shallots
How to Cook:
- Sauté 2 tbsp CAP IBU sliced shallots and 2 tbsp CAP IBU minced garlic in canola oil until fragrant and softened.
- Add the sliced beef and cook until the beef is no longer pink.
- Add the seasonings: 1 tsp CAP IBU hot chili powder, 1 tsp CAP IBU black pepper ground , 1/2 tsp CAP IBU ginger ground, 1/2 tsp CAP IBU nutmeg ground, 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 tbsp tomato sauce, and 2 tbsp chili sauce.
- Stir well until evenly combined.
- Add 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tbsp stock powder.
- Mix again until well combined.
- Pour in 500 ml water and simmer until the beef is tender and the flavors are absorbed.
- Once the liquid has reduced by half, add the sliced onion and cook until softened.
- Serve with boiled carrots, boiled green beans, and fried potato wedges.
- Garnish with fried shallots (optional) and serve.
